US vice presidential nominees Tim Kaine and Mike Pence clashed over immigration, security, and the economy, during a debate in Farmville, Virginia.
The nominees also argued about Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server when she was Secretary of State. Also on the agenda were controversial comments made by Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, such as his comments denigrating Mexicans as rapists and criminals.
Al Jazeera’s Kristen Saloomey was joined by Lori Robertson, managing editor of Factcheck.org in Virginia.
